2011-2012 Developmental Program
DOVE will be sponsoring a Developmental Program for 3rd-7th graders for the 2011-2012 season. We are proud to announce that Erin Hensler will be the Program Director for the second year. Coach Hensler is the previous head coach for Northern Durham High School. This program will provide an opportunity to learn volleyball fundamentals in a safe and fun environment. The season will run from the middle December through mid March and will focus on skill development. Gym sessions will occur once a week and will be on Saturday or Sunday and will include drills, skills, and game like situations. We are hoping the rotating schedule with Saturday and Sundays will help with family schedules and give your child the opportunity to play even if they are only able to attend when practice is on either Saturday or Sunday. The cost of the season is $300.
Registration is now open on a first come bases. Space is limited to 32 participants! Please go to the "Registration Tab" and fill out the form and hit submit. This is a DOVE form and goes to the DOVE email. You will be emailed to confirm enrollment into the program. YOU WILL NOT NEED TO REGISTER WITH THE CAROLINA REGION WEBSITE.
